The Mental Fitness Industry (MFI) has its roots in a simple notion. Let’s keep our mind as healthy as our bodies. We can hear some of the scoffs and see some of the eye rolls but give it a moment and think about it.

The physical fitness industry is a multi-billion-dollar behemoth that focuses on how you can look your best. Those ‘before’ and ‘after’ transformations sure give us the feels! We all have that gym membership that we picked up at the beginning of the year with the resolve to eat better and engage in physical activity. Clothes will fit better, we will look and feel better about our bodies, and we will have impromptu photo ops at the gym. The latter seems to be quite the motivator because it’s all about ‘Doin’ it for the Gram!’ This is quite a big payoff in this day and age, and we all are quick to hop on the bandwagon!

Let me throw this biggie at you. Have you ever considered the fact that your mind needs the same ongoing regime? Does your mind need frequent, if not regular, attention to help it function at its optimum? Will this help you deal with life with ease and minimal stress? You should have an affirmative answer to all these questions. Why you ask?

We all live fast-paced lives with a solid amount of overlap in our personal and professional lives. It is extremely easy to sideline mental wellbeing in favour of the completion of everyday tasks or daily routines. We all squeeze in quick meals to get to our next task. Are you saying you don’t scarf down a meal while texting three people, scrolling through Instagram, and talking to your mother on speaker? Actually, we do not make room for downtime when we can unwind, disconnect, and analyse our state of mind. You don’t think this is the case?

Why should you give your mental health time and attention? As cliché as it sounds, prevention is better than cure. Mental health is in the news and is finally being talked about more openly. The loss of a large number of public figures has shocked society enough to bring attention to the importance of mental wellbeing. Are they not the most public example of how life can look amazing but not feel that way? This is not to say that the happenings under our roofs are any less important.

Individual Offerings

Certification Programs

NLP Prac: If you’ve discovered life coaching and see it as a role you can flourish in, this is a 5-day certification program that you can take on with a group of other participants. It is conducted by a certified NLP trainer and focuses on experiential learning. You will be introduced to the fundamentals and principles of NLP and will be taught to apply them to yourself. This program aims to enhance self-performance. The trainer will create an environment where you absorb the basics of NLP and you learn tried and tested tools and techniques. These tools and techniques will help you clearly understand the ethos of the NLP methodology. By the end of the program, you will feel its impact on your thought and communication process. This program is likened to learning the alphabet. It is the first step toward life coaching.  

NLP Mprac: This is a 9-day program that is offered to people who are NLP Prac certified. If you are NLP Prac certified, this is the right program for you to polish your skills. The program involves an environment where NLP practitioners master the tools and techniques that they have previously learned and conversationally apply them to their day-to-day situations. Practitioners learn to seamlessly apply NLP tools and techniques because of their new-found expertise and familiarity with the content and methodology. There is little need to highlight the theory behind a technique considering it is implicitly understood by the practitioner. This program can be likened to having mastered the alphabet and having moved on to structuring clear and complete sentences.
Coach Training Program: This is a 125-hour program that covers the basics of coaching. You will learn about what coaching is, its fundamentals, and its applications. It involves a deep dive into understanding and building a rapport with yourself before being able to coach others. By the end of this program, you will be well equipped for your journey as a coach. You can always follow this up with other certifications to enhance your skillset.
Health Coach Program: This is a 3-day program that enables you to help people suffering from ailments. It focuses on mental coaching so that you can help a patient deal with the emotions of a diagnosis or an ongoing illness. You will be able to help them accept the illness, overcome it, and create new lifestyles to avoid similar diagnoses in the future. If you are a firm believer in mind over matter and understand that there is a mind-body connection, this is the program for you. You will truly benefit from this offering as it helps you understand the synchronization that exists between the mind and body.
Train the Trainer: This program focuses on teaching NLP Master Practitioners ways to create environments to train new practitioners. It is a 13-day program that helps a former student become a teacher. If you are NLP MPrac certified and believe in sharing your learnings with others, this program is definitely your cup of tea. It will teach you ways to correctly pass on your knowledge while creating an environment that is conducive to learning. You will learn to put your best foot forward when it comes to promoting mental fitness.

These programs are open to all and are not focused on certification of any kind. They have more to with improving your overall wellbeing and working on self-development. Self-Mastery: This program is for you if you find yourself in constant conflict. You’re in the middle of a good experience, but you don’t feel good. You are unable to be yourself when in certain situations. Heck, you can’t stand up to your family and nosy extended family. Take this program…and go! This program is all about understanding and developing yourself. You will learn to build a rapport with yourself because a wise woman once said, if you don’t know what it is, you can’t fix it! This program focuses on identifying your abilities and helping you figure out how to deal with various situations in your adult state, that is, with logical decision making. Relatable much? Emotional Mastery: This one is a beaut! Have you ever been in a situation where you want to yell because you’re so angry but you end up crying? I can imagine the women nodding and the men smirking (because men don’t cry! Right!) This program helps you understand your emotions and learn ways to control them or harness them correctly depending on the situation.  You will learn to deal with a situation and ensure a positive outcome with the least amount of stress because you will be cognizant of the emotions that will best see you through. You will also learn to identify stress triggers and how to nullify them. No more impromptu crying, y’all!

 Emotional Intelligence: This program is for anyone looking to step out of their comfort zone be it a new job, a new venture, or a new phase in one’s personal life. You will learn about the emotions needed to achieve goals and aspirations. You will be made aware of the emotions that need to be harnessed or developed to help you take on an aspirational role. Do you dream of running your own business but are too scared to take a step in the right direction? Are you scared to make a personal commitment because you feel like it locks you in? Do you want to be a travel blogger but your family loves your current, cushy corporate job? Come to us and we will teach you to fix it!

Goal Setting Program: This program helps you set goals that align with your true self. This program essentially ensures that your goals and aspirations are in line with your internal and external perception. You don’t want to have dreams of being a prima ballerina because it looks ‘pretty,’ especially when you have two left feet, yes? You want your goals to be based on things you truly want to achieve. It’s not about whether you can achieve them because you can do anything if you really set your mind to it. It’s about setting a goal with true intentions. Here, you will learn to set goals that are in sync with the rapport you’ve built with yourself.
Vision Board Creation: This is not some everyday program where you stick a bunch of pictures on chart paper and call it a day. This program focuses on creating a vision board for your feelings and emotions. It helps you chalk out the vision of where you are right now emotionally, where you want to be, and how you want to evolve. Its main focus is emotional goals and how you want to feel when you achieve something. This program beautifully combines your worldly aspirations with mental health requirements to give you emotional stability.
Communication Development Programs: Everybody can benefit from this program. We all communicate on a daily basis in one way or the other to a bunch of different people. That’s a huge number of transactions that require a change of language, tone, and non-verbal cues. This program helps you learn ways to best articulate your thoughts and tailor them to various receivers. It has nothing to do with mastering a specific language. It’s all about learning how to build a narrative to express your situation. Most individuals these days live their life online. Fear Management Program: This program is clearly needed in our current times. This program helps you identify your next steps and how to bring out the right emotions to get there.
Family Business Program: Are you working in a business that was handed down to you by a parent? Do you feel regular anxiety because you are unsure if you are ‘allowed’ to do things your way? Is there a way to do new things while keeping the peace? Yes, there is and this program is a good way to start. When working in a family business, you end up with transgenerational scripts that have been passed down over the years.
